Participants will receive a certificate of completion in adoption therapy upon successful completion of the program. One hundred contact hours are available for the entire program.

The Post Graduate Adoption Therapy program will maintain a listing of certified adoption-competent therapists who have completed this program. This listing will be made available to professionals and families seeking the services of adoption competent practitioners via our web site.

Mental health professionals who earn the certificate will compose a core group of clinicians with adoption-specific knowledge who are available to serve the thousands of families affected by adoption in the tri-state area. The Post Graduate Program expects to eventually train trainers to extend the expertise and to provide ongoing supervision and technical assistance to these therapists and the agencies and communities that they serve.
