Applications

Applications will be accepted for the 2006-2007 program from June through September when the programs begins. Late submissions will be reviewed on a space available basis.

Applicants to the Postgraduate Certificate Program in Adoption Therapy are evaluated on the basis of their academic background, practical experience in the field, and personal qualifications appropriate for effective application of the program studies.

Applicants employed by public child welfare agencies and those from licensed foster care agencies in New York State will be given priority for admisssions. On average, 75% of all students will be from these constituencies.

Tuition

The tuition for the program is $750.00 for employees of the public child welfare system and from licensed foster care agencies in New York State.

Admission costs for New York State Residents not employed by a child welfare agency is $1,500.

Admissions costs for non-NYS residents is $ 2,000.00.

This fee does not include the cost for the course reading materials. Payments can be made by check to: Research Foundation CUNY.

A number of scholarships are available.
